For Sabir, building and starting Garlic Clove is the culmination of years of hard work. Living on the Gold Coast for over a decade, working in numerous restaurants and learning from the best has led him here: his first restaurant and grand plans for what is to come.

For Dolly, Garlic Clove is a family affair. Not only guiding and supporting her husband, Sabir, but collecting family recipes, handed down through the generations, to bring the restaurant to life at Ormeau Village. 

NOW FULLY LICENSED!

Garlic Clove is now fully licensed with a fully stocked bar with your favourite spirits, an excellent wine list and delicious beers to help wash down your spicy curry. 

Please note that we are now also BYO for wine only. So feel free to bring along your favourite drop from home and enjoy whilst feasting on the finest curries.
